Are you truly living a life aligned with the voices of your Guides? If not, have you ever wondered what would happen if you let go and followed them?
Weekly Wisdom: We get so used to doing things other people say we’re supposed to do, that we don’t make decisions based on what we want. Take the time to figure out what lights YOU up! How can the universe give you what you want if you don’t know what it is?
This week on Facebook, we had a wonderful guest, Ana Maria Vasquez. She is a well-known multi-sensory animal and nature intuitive.
Ana Maria shared so much wonderful information that I can’t possibly put it all in this newsletter. I’ll share a few highlights, but if you’re not living a joyful life that’s connected to your heart and soul, it’s worth it to take the time to listen to the Live.
Ana Maria was living on a beautiful farm in Wisconsin when her Cosmic Committee (what she calls her Guides) said, “Hey, it’s time to move.” She was like, “WHAT???”
At that point, Ana Maria had done tons of work to get to where she was, was known globally for that work, loved her life, and felt good about things. So, she tried to avoid and rationalize her way out of a move. Finally, she realized that she might have some resistance to this particular piece of advice. She says, “They lured me into playing along by saying it would be where I’d find my love.”
Things got stranger when she realized the place was a tiny, remote mountain town that had maybe 400 people on a busy day and was 4.5 hours from, well, anything. She didn’t know anyone there or anything about the place.
But, she trusted her Cosmic Committee and decided to give it two years in the new place. After six months of looking for a place to rent there, and with only two weeks left before she had to move, Ana Maria still didn’t have a place to live. Renting is hard enough in a small town, but she had a Great Dane, another dog, and a cat.
Ten days before she left, a place came through, and it was perfect for her. So, off she moved. About a year had passed when Ana Maria decided that she was trying to force the love thing. She stopped looking, rescued a puppy, and decided to focus on the pup and her business.
A week later, she was invited to a night out of chocolate cake and dancing with friends. While out, she took a bite of cake, twirled around, and spun right into a cowboy named James. They’re now happily living together on his ranch.
Ana Maria went from feeling like her Cosmic Committee might have been drunk when they gave her advice to feeling like she was bat crap crazy for following their advice to meeting her love and having more joy than she could have imagined back when her Guides said it was time to move.
What would have happened if she hadn’t listened? What if she wasn’t connected?
Living in connection involves knowing your heart, being able to pause for a second, define who you are and how you want to live, and then making decisions from that place of power. It’s trusting your Guides, or as Ana Maria calls them, your Cosmic Committee.
Sometimes that means big adventures like it did for Ana Maria, but sometimes it’s about small shifts that result in big changes. It’s letting go and trusting because you can’t come to a solution when all you’re focused on is your current challenge and limitations.
