Don’t Hide Your Light: Welcome to pod party #14! This is a very special pod party because we’re going to do hot seats. I’ll be answering some questions about building a business from the inside out, and important questions that might transform your life.
This is an invitation-only episode. The invitation extended solely to individuals whose work I have personally observed and been exposed to. Some of them are participants in my program, and the rest have bought some of the programs that I offer. And I requested them to participate in this specific call today.
We’ll be having an interesting conversation about making a spiritual identity out of business, owning your life, and the consequences of your choices no matter the outcome. The pressure of knowing you have to meet the requirements of every customer could be beneficial to the success of your business or product, but it could also make you feel miserable. One of the goals that you should work toward in your business is to find a course of action that allows you to maintain your confidence in both yourself and the worth of the things you sell.
How are you supposed to find your way if the route ahead of you is not entirely clear? How do you run when you don’t know where you’re going? How do you own your heart and soul when you run a business? Tune in to this episode to get your answers, learn insightful lessons, and hear relatable stories that might help you in your journey in life and in your business.

Thank you so much for this podcast. I don’t have a specific thing that I am currently working on developing, but it is pretty amazing (to me) that I still feel like I got so much from each of you on this podcast. I will try to generalize it, as it feels so good. It is getting me to drop down into myself, to ask myself things about feeling authentic, to receive guidance for my daily life/ daily spiritual practices. I am sorry I couldn’t attend the live podcast, but I am so glad you shared it. I am 71, very happy, living where I want to live (in the house where I grew up, surrounded by woods, nature, a creek, have a huge garden, loving husband of 50 years, etc etc) so I am just absolutely not feeling a need to “build a business” or anything. A few years ago I decided that my purpose in life appears to be to make people laugh (I work in a very small town’s gas station convenience store, as my “retirement job”, and people sometimes say they are so glad they came in, as I made them feel good.) For instance, when I see that a customer owes $25.25, I can’t help breaking out singing “In the year 2525” etc. Sometimes I have the whole store singing along. (Oh, I was a music teacher, so that may explain part of that craziness.) Anyway, I’m pretty darn happy, so I don’t feel I need to be in the “hot seat”, and yet I still feel like I get a ton of info/inspiration/ideas from each of you. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing such deep things.
