Marilyn’s Sunday Sessions – Espresso-ly For You

How are you doing? I hope you’re having a joyous day! If you’re not, or if you’re struggling or frustrated because your dreams aren’t coming true, this newsletter is just what you need.

Today, I’m going to give you three tips on how to move your dreams forward (with the sweet side-effect of adding more joy to your life). I’ll also share a bonus that will help you do a reading for yourself.

Weekly Wisdom: Learning to read for yourself is important. Of course, you can go to outside sources for some extra healing, direction, etc., but constant contact with and help from a medium isn’t something you should need all the time.

Let’s talk about how to move your dreams forward.

Tip 1: When you’re struggling with making your dream comes true, make a list of joyful things you want to do or enjoy doing

Tip 2: Pick one thing from your list

Tip 3: Schedule it into your day.

If you find joy in sunny days, but it’s raining outside, get online and look at pictures of sunny scenes. If you want to travel but can’t leave today, get online and plan your trip or explore the things you might do while you’re there.

Going through the three tips helps gets you out of entrapment and stuck energy. Sometimes, you have to do something entirely different from your dream to wake it up and re-inspire the vibration inside you.

Then, you can get inspiring thoughts about the next action step you need to take. It takes away the, “Why isn’t this happening!?” feeling and replaces it with you doing something joyous—it makes space for inspiration and direction. It leads to creative energy.

Personal Story:

Lately, I’ve been talking to Jesus at night before I go to sleep. It’s okay if you aren’t into Jesus. You’re into something, and you can connect with whatever that something is the same way I do with Jesus.

So, I talk to Jesus at night and ask him for what I need to know to move forward with my dreams. I ask for clarity.

And then, the next morning, I get up and go about my day. Most mornings, answers come to me. Getting guidance and clarity is that simple.

One of the people in Mastermind for Your Soul did something similar. She lost something important to her on a snowy mountain. The next day, she and her husband went back to the mountain. She just kept asking for help, and her Guides kept offering it—almost like a game of colder/warmer. And, on a snow-covered mountain, her Guides led her to the thing she’d lost.

Fantastic, right? That’s why it’s important for you to have your own connection and be able to do your own readings. With that in mind, here’s something to help you.

Bonus: If you’re struggling with a decision and don’t know what to do…

  • Go and get five books. Don’t be strategic about it. It can be any book or magazine.
  • Sit down and put the books around you in a circle.
  • Sit in meditation.
  • Ask the question of what you’re struggling with.
  • Then, intuitively, just go to one of the books (ask Spirit to guide you) and open it to wherever you go. It may not give you the exact answer, but it will give you further understanding.
  • Do that five times, one for each book.
  • You may not get the answer at the moment because you need to learn something about yourself. But in time, it’ll come to you

Bonus #2: When it comes to your dreams, say “I am” instead of “I want.” It allows you to see yourself as already successful and it opens up the opportunity for creativity and growth.
