I love my Guides! My Guides changed my life 12 years ago when they first appeared to me and they continue to enlighten, shift, expand and change it for the better. I want to teach all of you how to get the Guidance I get on a regular basis.
The first time I met my Guide I was in an extremely difficult time in my life. Depressed, living an unfulfilled life, working hard on changing things but nothing was happening. You know the feeling…when you grab every book you hear is the next best thing or go to the newest therapist. You feel so good for about a minute and then that old, sluggish, unhappy feeling washes over and you don’t understand why you can’t shake your “unfulfilled life.” That was me.
Leading up to meeting my Guide, I was studying the symbolic language of dreams in my waking life. Things like repetitive numbers, vivid dreams and symbols I had seen. Finally, I started weaving together the string of information that the Universe was sending me and it began making sense.
Excitement was entering my veins, as I ventured into this unknown, uncharted, magical territory. “Could it be true?” “Are there really Guides, Spirits, Angels out there watching my back?” I wondered. Then it happened. I started feeling this pressure on the left side of my body pushing on me in a gentle, determined way. I knew there was something or someone there, but “who?”, I wondered. I had no idea. Was I making this up? Was this my imagination? Then, I closed my eyes and made contact with the energy that was sitting on my left side. We launched into a conversation that I didn’t want to leave. He was loving, fun and full of insight and wisdom that I was thirsting to receive.
I communicate on a daily basis with my Guides for a myriad of reasons. From who I should be friends with, to where I need to live, to what outfit I should wear. Yep, they will even help you with clothes… and my goodness, I need help there. 🙂 Even in my loneliest moments I never feel alone, because I know they are right there with me, cheering me on, teaching me, Guiding me and most importantly, loving me every minute.
Today, I want to share one of my simple stories with you on how my Guides help me in my everyday life.
As many of you know, I play tennis. It was a lifelong dream that I never pursued until my Guides kept urging me to start. My Guides put a friend in my path who introduced me to a tennis clinic and my coach. Oh, how I love it! Right now, I’m on a very focused work track and tennis is the only thing I say yes to.
For the past couple of months, my Guides kept insisting I expand my circles and find other people to play. I was very comfortable in my clinic and with my coach but I trust my Guides and began exploring. They started dropping different tennis clinics in my lap, urging me to go. Finally, I went to one and loved it but still found it hard to leave the clinic I was in, although it was becoming less fulfilling than these other groups.
This past Saturday, I went to my coach’s clinic and had a run in with my coach. I had had these run ins before but tried to ignore them because I loved the game so much. This one left me heartbroken and hurt. I depended on this group for an outlet of fun, but knew I would have to leave my coach and this clinic.
After crying a bit and sharing the tale with a few friends, who promptly told me I needed to leave, I sat down with my Guides. I needed to understand why this was happening and to truly know if I needed to leave. They came through with brilliant confirmation and advice. They showed me what I needed to learn and why this situation was happening. They explained that they urged me to go to the other clinic because it was better for me and they knew this was going to happen. Then they urged me to check online, and there I found many more groups and games of tennis that I was excited to join!
See, something simple like tennis which wasn’t really simple at all for me, my Guides walked me through! They knew something was going to happen and they prepared me by sending me to the other clinic. Had that happened without exploring other options, I would have been even more confused. They made the break that much easier & now I feel like I’m not losing anything but am gaining a ton.
